After rolling out Meta AI, WhatsApp is now working on another interesting feature to enhance the user experience.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that brings the “Video Note” to the camera interface. The feature will be more beneficial for people who prefer to chat through video messages.
It helps you record video notes directly from the camera interface. You don’t have to press and hold the camera icon in the chat bar to send video messages. Additionally, you can also forward video notes to the contacts or groups you want. Previously, you couldn’t forward video notes, and you had to record the same message to share with multiple contacts.
The report further reads, “This feature will bring several advantages since it clears the confusion on how to record video notes. The earlier update has brought a few changes for the users to record and share video notes. Sometimes, it is important to alter the interface. Now, moving video note mode to the camera interface increases the workflow and lets more people use the feature.”
This feature is currently available for some beta users who have downloaded the latest beta update on their Android and iOS devices. It is expected to roll out for other testers in the coming days.
The company has also stated, “WhatsApp has banned more than 6.6 million user accounts. Out of them, 1.25 million accounts were blocked before receiving any reports from users.”
