Android 15 has brought several new features to the supported smartphones. The beta 2 version of Android 15 introduced an interesting feature on Google Pixel phones called Adaptive Vibration. Upon enabling this, the vibration strength of your device will be adjusted according to its surroundings. The feature uses the phone’s microphone and sensors to determine the sound level of the outside environment.
Note – You need to install Android 15 beta on your Pixel phone to get this feature. Downloading the beta version may bring several bugs to your device. So, think twice before installing the beta version. If you’re eager to do it, visit this support page for detailed instructions.
How to Enable Adaptive Vibration on Google Pixel in Android 15
1. On your Pixel Phone, open the Settings app.
2. Scroll down to the Sound & Vibration section and tap on it.
3. On the Sound & Vibration page, choose the Vibration & haptics setting.
4. Go to the Adaptive Vibration option and select it.
5. On the next page, tap on the toggle next to the Use Adaptive Vibration option.
Now, the smartphone will adjust the vibration strength according to the surroundings.
Does All the Pixel Phones Support Adaptive Vibration?
Currently, this feature is only available for users with Pixel 7 and 8 Series models running the Android 15 Beta 2 version. For 6 Series models, the feature is not yet available. For other smartphone brands, we will be able to determine availability only after the launch of the stable Android 15 version, which is expected in October.
