Google is marching closer to the public release of Android 15. Now, they have released a Beta 4.1 update for most Pixel devices. If you have participated in the Android Beta for Pixel program, you will get the on-device OTA file for Beta 4.1 and install it via safe mode. The purpose of this update is to fix a major bug that arises when receiving or making calls.
The latest Android 15 Beta 4.1 update, which includes the July 2024 security patches, has a build number of AP31.240617.010 on most devices. According to Google release notes, updating to Android 15 Beta 4 can resolve the following issues.
- Issue #354086106, Issue #354582492, Issue #354788692, Issue #355129314, and Issue #355024157

In addition to manual installation, you can get the Android 15 Beta 4.1 update by checking your device’s settings. Go to Settings → System → Software Updates → System Update → Check for Update.
As we all know, 1st week of August is the deadline for testing the final build versions of Android. Notably, Google’s hardware event is scheduled for August 13, 2024. We can probably expect the official stable release of Android 15 on that date.
