Twitch announced that the Discovery Feed feature will be released to users on Android and iOS with the new update. According to reports, the app will feature a TikTok-like user-friendly interface, where users can explore streamers’ trending content with a single scroll. Besides targeting TikTok, Twitch joins the race with other short-form video streaming applications such as Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
The Discovery Feed on the Twitch app will have two sections: a live feed and a clips feed. Click the Live section to watch the latest live streams from the streamers you like, including the ones you already follow. To preview the top moments from popular streamers in short clips, tap the Clips tab. This will let you watch the exciting content even though the streamer is offline.
Twitch’s revamped version also includes new sections in the app. It will feature a Browse tab (to explore new content), an Activity tab (to check notifications), a Profile, and a Plus button (to start a live stream). In case you would like to know more updates about the streamers you follow, tap the Following feed at the top-left corner.
