Yes, it is possible with the iPhone Mirroring app released with the macOS 15 Sequoia update. It allows you to control the iPhone mirrored on the Mac.
It is a great way to use your iPhone while working on a Mac without physically picking up your iPhone.
Requirements:
- Download the iOS 18 beta on your iPhone and macOS 15 Sequoia beta version on your Mac device.
- Ensure that your Mac has an Apple Silicon Chip or a T2 Security Chip.
- Keep your iPhone and Mac close to each other.
- Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on for both devices. Also, they are connected to the same network.

How to Use iPhone Mirroring App on Mac
1. Launch the iPhone Mirroring app on your Mac from the dock.
2. Tap Continue from the prompt and unlock your iPhone.
3. Click Get Started. You need to unlock the iPhone Mirroring on Mac by using Touch ID or Mac login.
Note: If you do not want to unlock this app every time, tap iPhone Mirroring at the top and click on the Settings option. Choose Automatically Authenticate to disable the Ask every time option.
4. Now, your iPhone will be entirely mirrored on the Mac device. You will see iPhone in use prompt on your iPhone once the connection is successful.
5. Now, you can operate the iPhone directly from the Mac. If you unlock your iPhone, the connection will be lost automatically.
6. Open any app on your iPhone and stream the content. When you play the content on an iPhone from a Mac, you can see the playback notification on your iPhone.
7. To redirect back to the home screen from any app, tap the Menu option at the top. Along with that, you would also see another icon that looks like multiple slides, and that is used to access App Switcher on your iPhone.
8. You can use your Mac keyboard to enter the text on your iPhone. You can also copy and paste the text using the keyboard shortcuts.
To stop iPhone Mirroring on Mac, tap iPhone Mirroring from the top Menu bar and choose Quit iPhone Mirroring.

Can I Change the iPhone Used for iPhone Mirroring on Mac?
Yes. You can change the iPhone used for iPhone Mirroring from your Mac device settings. Go to System Settings on your Mac device, and tap on Desktop & Dock from the left pane. Hover to the Widgets section, tap the drop-down from the iPhone tab, and choose your preferred iPhone for mirroring.
If you wish to change the Mac device on your iPhone, head to Settings and choose the General option. Click AirPlay & Continuity and select iPhone Mirroring. Choose your Mac device from the list that satisfies the above-mentioned requirements.
Limitations on iPhone Mirroring with iOS 18 and macOS 15 Sequoia
The iPhone Mirroring feature with iOS 18 and macOS 15 Sequoia has its own limitations. As mentioned before, you cannot control your iPhone on your Mac device when it is unlocked. You cannot access the camera or microphone via iPhone Mirroring.
Also, iPhone Mirroring will not support access to the Control Center, Siri, and Notification of your iPhone. You can move your iPhone window on a Mac, but you cannot resize it. If you use AirPlay or Sidecar on your Mac device, you cannot access iPhone Mirroring.
The iPhone Mirroring feature is one of the great tools that provides you the convenience of using your Mac and iPhone together on a single screen.
